Abe is ethically corrupt at work, but a decent man at home. 
Irving is a decent man at work, but ethically corrupt at home.

George made a passive decision to participate in evil.
Jack made an active decision to participate in evil.

Some suffer the consequences of their actions.

Some make others suffer the consequences.

All four, in their own way, are morally bankrupt at times of their lives.
But who isn’t?

All four, in their own way, live lives of quiet desperation.
But who doesn’t?

Would we do the same in similar circumstances?
